Whether you’re a seasoned player, a curious chess enthusiast, or completely new to shogi, this weekend promises great games, welcoming community vibes, and plenty of opportunities to learn, compete, and connect with players from across the country. Join us for an unforgettable weekend of strategy, culture, and fun in one of the world’s most vibrant cities—we’d love to see you there!

EligibilityPlayers must:
have been residing in the US for 1 year or more as of April, 2026 or have permanent US residence.
or hold a permanent visa, citizenship, or equivalent status allowing them to reside in the US.
or be granted special eligibility by tournament organizers (e.g. for former participants who no longer reside in the US).
